We're all familiar with Moscow's disinformation operations on traditional social networks. Lately, these operations are being deployed via various other media, such as BlueSky, the platform where more and more users who have decided to leave X, out of rejection of Elon Musk, can be found, or in films and video games.

Deepfakes at the heart of the Russian-Ukrainian information war

Vladimir Putin announcing the return of Crimea to Ukraine and his own resignation, or Volodymyr Zelensky declaring his country's complete surrender: these totally fabricated videos, and others like them, have been viewed some millions of times on social networks. While Russia, in this area as in the military field, launched hostilities as early as 2014, Ukraine has now learned to employ these methods - and other tools of information warfare -, the aim of which is always to sow confusion among public opinion in the enemy country.

Indictment of Pavel Durov, Telegram boss: a geopolitical affair?

On August 24, Pavel Durov was arrested while his private jet was making a stop at Le Bourget. The French authorities explain this decision by the Telegram CEO's refusal to cooperate, particularly in investigations into criminal actions (drug trafficking, swindling or even pedocriminality) whose perpetrators had allegedly used his messaging service to perpetrate them.
