Sorbonne Management Research
The Sorbonne Business School research laboratory "LAB Sorbonne Business School" has joined forces with the Sorbonne School of Management research laboratory "PRISM Sorbonne" at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
A multidisciplinary research hub in management sciences
The "Sorbonne Management Research" was born of the desire to capitalize on the joint expertise of the two research laboratories at the Sorbonne Business School and Sorbonne Management School. The research teams at Sorbonne Business School and Sorbonne Management School are indeed complementary in terms of research themes and methodological approaches.
In order to develop management science research in line with societal concerns, "Sorbonne Management Research" has set itself 3 main objectives:
- the pooling of resources and synergy between research teams for rich scientific production
- the development of collaborations with academic and professional circles
- enhancing the value of research-based knowledge
Le LAB Sorbonne Business School
The Sorbonne Business School research laboratory brings together all of the Sorbonne Business School's teacher-researchers and researchers who are involved in research activity, as well as a number of "guest" or "associate" members from other institutions and/or other research teams.
Our laboratory offers a diversified expertise in management sciences, drawing in particular on the areas of activity of our research chairs. It thus works on the great societal subjects linked to management such as public-private partnerships, alternative financing in the agricultural sector, the governance of financial cooperatives, corporate mutations, the transformation of territories or even branding.
Composition and governance
The laboratory headed by Florent NOËL since June 2024 for 5 years. The laboratory has 119 members. It is composed as follows:
The LAB Sorbonne Business School has a laboratory council for its governance. It is both an instance for discussion and orientation of the laboratory's general activity and an instance for self-evaluation of research activity. Its elected and ex officio members (chair directors) meet 2-3 times a year as required, with the aim of discussing the general direction of research at the Sorbonne Business School
Ethics and research
The Sorbonne Business School intends to guarantee a rigorous, honest and responsible scientific approach in its research activities and to ensure the quality of the corresponding practices.
The Charte d'éthique, de déontologie et d'intégrité scientifique, set up in 2022 for this purpose, concerns all Sorbonne Business School staff, whether permanent or not, who contribute to research activity, doctoral students, whenever they are involved in carrying out research work.
