THE World 100 conference at the Sorbonne Business School

On Monday, September 22, 2025, the Sorbonne Business School hosted the first day of Times Higher Education's annual The World 100 conference, the world's largest gathering devoted to university reputation.

Organized each year by a major global institution, this flagship event of THE World 100 Reputation Network brings together the top 100 heads of communications, marketing, international engagement and strategy from the world's top-ranked universities.

The 2025 edition, focusing on the theme "Strong together: building reputation and resilience in a divided world", was punctuated by conferences and workshops to offer:

  • a strategic vision: sharing research, case studies and best practices in managing and enhancing institutional reputations;
  • a global perspective: exploring how universities are building trust, credibility and resilience in a rapidly changing international context;
  • peer-to-peer exchanges:a rare opportunity to meet other reputation leaders, exchange ideas and forge collaborations.

For universities seeking to develop their global reputation, the conference offers an exceptional opportunity to step back from day-to-day challenges, learn from peers and develop long-term strategies for impact and influence. The Sorbonne Business School is proud to have co-hosted this high-profile annual conference with Kedge Business School for Day 2!

THE World 100 Reputation Network is the only professional network for reputation managers from the world's top universities, exploring the themes of reputation, communication, strategy, crisis management, marketing and international partnerships. Membership is reserved for institutions ranked (within the last three years) in the top 200 of any of the global rankings published by THE, QS, ARWU, US News Best Global Universities Ranking, and in the top 100 universities of THE Impact Ratings and THE Young University Ranking.
