A few days ago, the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition awarded the Label Bas-Carbone (LBC) to 3 projects submitted by the Sorbonne Business School for a 30-year period. The Sorbonne Business School is thus the first university to have implemented "LBC" carbon offset projects.
Created by the ministère de la Transition écologique et solidaire with the collaboration of numerous partners, the Label Bas-Carbone aims to contribute to achieving France's climate objectives. It rewards actors in the fight against climate change.
As part of its CSR policy, the Sorbonne Business School has committed to offset the carbon footprint of its 2019 air flights by planting trees in Gironde. The three tree-planting projects in Gironde are being carried out to offset 2019 emissions. For consultation, they are listed on the ministry's register as projects funded by the Sorbonne Business School
